Tim’s new book reduces gypsy jazz violin to a few simple concepts. Take it to your Jam session and pull it out when in trouble! It gives you a Lick for every chord change and also makes the theory more intuitive with the Colour system. The growing collection of First Aid Kit videos explains and expands on the book, so you can keep improving.
Every month, Tim adds a bunch of new videos with licks, etudes, stories, tips, backing tracks and more, to keep you busy and motivated on your gypsy jazz journey. Revisit and enjoy ALL previous videos in the Library.
For those who want to take it further, live lessons are the key. Your monthly 10 minute session with Tim keeps you focused. In the Group lessons, you and 10 others learn a new song, and each of you has one-on-one time with Tim to work on your improv.
This is the hangout where you’ll meet the other members of the gypsy jazz string family. Talk about your gear, where to find the next jam session in your area and connect on a personal level with others.
Every month, Tim posts a challenge which will ask for your video response. You send in your video and Tim critiques it, offering you tips as well.
